A busy August...
It's been a busy August here at Paul Watler Machinery Movements, with lots of moves, an addition to the fleet, the return of an old favourite and a glowing testimonial.
First up we recently acquired a 44,000kg Scania 490 horsepower eight-wheeled rigid lorry with rear steer to offer added manoeuvrability. This will take some of the strain from our ageing and more familiar six-wheel rigid, especially as it has the capacity to couple up to our six-wheel 24,000kg trailers. Here it's fitted with a Fassi F660 rear-mount crane with its impressive lifting capacity radius and vehicle carrying capacity. All in all, this is a great addition to the fleet and should prove to be a popular vehicle with our clients.
Next up we were pleased to return to our fleet, after a well-earned rest, our STD crane trailer fitted with a rear-mount Copma SPE 540 crane. It's benefited from a refit and is looking as good as new with its new paint job. This artic trailer is designed to operate in areas of restricted head room and with its long bed length it offers the ability to operate and carry loads not suitable for our ridged vehicles.
And finally, we were delighted to receive a glowing testimonial from Liam Hynes, Senior Project Manager at Parias Construction & Interiors:

'Hi Paul, Just wanted to thank yourself, Roy and the team. You did a great job on a very short turnaround and we will certainly be using you again. Thanks again, Liam.'
