Specialist fork lifts at the ready

There was no let up here at Paul Watler Machinery Movements this weekend as we readied five of our specialist machinery handling fork trucks for hire. They set off at the crack of dawn today to a string of challenging machinery relocation projects in Norfolk, Kent and North Hertfordshire, and that’s just the start of a fully scheduled week ahead for our team.

There’s one high mast with gib attachment to assist in dismantling and lowering an overhead crane, and loading it to transport. Not only that we’ll be lifting machinery down from an internal mezzanine with a low mast FLT for removing hi-tech CNC machines and tools from beneath with the added challenge of restricted head room.

Our medium-height 7,000kg fork is heading south to assist in the dismantling and removal of a horizontal borer. We’ll also be lifting and removing the column of the machine which will be returned and shipped from our works due to site restrictions en route to India.

And finally, a small 4,000kg low mast FLT loaded with a jib attachment and 8-foot forks is destined for an internal relocation of a local sheet metal shop.
